Andrej Zmikić graduated in 2014 and joined dtb the same year. He has from the start been a member of dispute resolution and employment groups, also providing valuable support to corporate & commercial practice groups, especially with respect to project-related employment advice. Andrej regularly represents renown domestic and international clients before courts, drafts motions, pleads, statements of claim etc. With respect to employment law matters, Andrej’s experience includes providing advice to employers from different industry sectors and helping them stay in compliance with the complexities of employment regulations in Croatia. He has experience working with status of foreigners, TUPE agreements, negotiations with the unions, collective redundancies, managerial contracts, restructuring, anti-discrimination etc.In his work, Andrej’s focus is on taking preventive measures and making sure all employment policies are up to date and the clients avoids any pitfalls. However, in the event of labour litigation, Andrej is able to draw on his dispute resolution and employment expertise and has in this sense successfully represented numerous clients in litigation proceedings as well as assisted in amicable dispute resolutions.
